Organizations
An organization in Meno maps to a GitHub organization. It groups that org's projects and the teammates who work on them, so a company's sites and the people who edit them live together in one place — separate from your personal work.
You can work in two kinds of context:
Personal projects -- repos under your own GitHub account, just for you.
Organization projects -- repos under a GitHub org, shared with your teammates.
Switching organization context
The dashboard shows projects for one context at a time. Use the organization switcher in the dashboard header to choose which one you're looking at: your personal account or any GitHub org you belong to. Picking a context filters the project grid to that org's projects, and new projects you create are placed in the selected context.
When you connect GitHub, the orgs you're a member of appear in the switcher automatically. For more on the dashboard and how projects are listed, see Dashboard.
Team access through seats
Teammates get access to an organization's projects through that org's Team plan. A Team plan is seat-based: the org holds a number of seats, billed through Polar, and each teammate occupies one seat.
A seated member gets Pro on every project in that organization. That means full editor capabilities — components, CMS, internationalization, and the rest — apply to the org's projects while they hold a seat. There are no per-project keys to manage: access follows the seat, not the project.
Seats are managed at the organization level. Add a teammate to a seat to grant them Pro on the org's projects; remove them from the seat to revoke it.
Seat scope is per-organization
A seat grants Pro only on the projects of the organization that issued it. If a teammate holds a seat on org A, they get Pro on org A's projects — not on org B's, and not on anyone's personal projects.
If the same person needs Pro across two organizations, each org grants its own seat independently. This keeps billing and access cleanly separated per org, so one company's plan never spills over into another's work.
For seat pricing, what Pro unlocks, and how billing works through Polar, see Licensing.
Organizations are how teams collaborate in Meno. Connect your GitHub org, switch into its context from the dashboard, and grant teammates Pro by seating them on the org's Team plan.
